At a pivotal point in my high school years I was torn between an Art v a Wood Technology stream. I was always more passionate about art so went in that direction but always continued with wood working as a hobby.
Years later I met Sam Harris, who had just started his cabinet making business, Square Peg Woodworks,
at the time I was Photo assisting and work was a little slow so when Sam asked if I'd like to work with him I jumped at the chance.At times it was hard work but we also had a lot of fun, I loved having the satisfaction of having objects come into being in my own hands and seeing the finished cabinets or whatever we were working on in situ when finished.
